How it Works

Things have been changing a little here at Weave, and to provide our users with a better shopping experience, we have created 3 separate areas for you to select materials from. There are also a few ways you can now obtain materials, either purchasing a fill-able bag, or selecting individual items from our new shopping areas. The same guidelines still apply with your fill-able bags. Registered users can take up to two large bin bags, priced £8.00 per bag (£4.00 per half), and take materials from the original shopping area.

We also have a new space which we call ‘Shopping Street’. Here we stock individually priced items which range from fabrics, mirrors, reels to balloons. These are priced at a quarter of their retail price, and you can purchase these in addition to your bag allowance. You don’t even have to be purchasing fill-able bags to shop in this space, so it’s great if you want to pop down and grab a quick bargain.

The third area we have recently opened is a space where we stock oversized materials and special supplies. These might be individually priced items which are too big to fit into a bag, or a particular item of stock which is high supply and has a restriction on the amount you can take. This is similar to the system we operated before in the original shop. We also allow users to purchase surplus amounts of certain materials, beyond the allocation you have within your fill-able bags. All of these are labelled clearly within this space so you can take exactly what you need for whatever project you are working on.

We hope that these new changes will help make shopping at Weave more in line with your needs, and allow every registered user fair access to the materials. We are always on hand to answer any of your questions, and appreciate your cooperation whilst we make a few changes to the way things work. We have also extended our opening hours so that users can come and shop every Tuesday between 5.00-7.30pm. As well as this we will also be open every first Saturday of the month by appointment only (in some cases this may change so it’s always worthwhile checking the website before you visit.)
