WEAVE + WNS Foundation Stage Training Programme 2012

WEAVE and the Warwickshire Nursery Schools Consortium have been selected as one of sixteen Children's Centres to participate in the Early Years Teaching Centres project, managed by Pen Green Research Base and funded by the Department for Education.The new partnership includes Weave in a community of excellence offering a more comprehensive training package. Through the expertise of our new partners we can now offer high quality courses in leadership, self evaluation, introduction to the EYFS and planning for quality. 

Engaging Boys in Imaginative Play

A practical workshop exploring ways to engage boys in story-
telling, role play, using props and small world play. Practitioners will use a wide range of open-ended recycled materials to inspire and create mini environments of enquiry using popular culture and the children's interests to stimulate imaginative play. Click here for more information.

Self Evaluation and Improvement Planning

The course explores the role of the setting manager in leading
