Terms & Conditions of Registration
Please read this document carefully and ensure you understand and agree to
WEAVE’s terms and conditions of registration. Please keep a copy for your records
- Registering with WEAVE Recycle entitles education, community and youth establishments to use the WEAVE Shop. Any group using the shop must be registered.
- Registrations and user cards are valid only for the person or group to whom they have been issued and are strictly non-transferable. Registration cannot be shared between different groups. Only one User Card per registration will be issued.
- User Cards must be presented at every visit as proof of identity. WEAVE reserves the right to refuse access if no card is presented.
- Any materials or resources purchased from WEAVE must be used solely for the activities of the registered user or user’s group named on the registration form and user card.
- The management of WEAVE reserves the right to refuse or suspend the registration of any group or individual for any reason.
- WEAVE aims to supply materials for groups and individuals but it cannot guarantee to supply any such materials. WEAVE cannot guarantee to supply any particular item.
- Materials in the WEAVE Shop are available for users to purchase by the bag. Alongside the WEAVE Shop further resources will be individually-priced and available for users to purchase in addition to the bags.
- WEAVE will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the materials it supplies are safe when they are appropriately used, however, we cannot guarantee that materials are clean or safe. WEAVE advises that all materials be washed prior to usage.
- WEAVE will not be held liable for any damage, loss or injury which might arise from using materials supplied by WEAVE, however caused.
- Users must take responsibility for the materials they are purchasing in terms of ages and abilities of the people they are working with.
- Users are welcome to bring children to WEAVE provided they are closely supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Users are responsible for their children’s safety at WEAVE at all times.
- Users must not stockpile goods but are encouraged to ask WEAVE if they might need a quantity of a particular item.
- The materials must not be resold, exchanged or used for any other purpose including commercial gain (this includes training or workshop delivery) without the prior agreement of WEAVE management.
- Payments can be made by cash or cheque. Organisations may request to pay by invoice but invoices will not be raised for amounts less than £35.
- Schools or organisations may pre-pay for a minimum of 6 large bags if they wish, for which WEAVE can invoice. Pre-paid bags must be taken during the period of the registration and are non-transferrable. Refunds cannot be made for pre-paid bags not taken by the end of the registration period. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure pre-paid bags are used up.
- WEAVE retains the right to alter its Terms & Conditions at any time and without prior notice.
Data Protection Act 1984- Information about users gathered from registration forms is held
on computer for the use of WEAVE Recycle Ltd only.
