OILS
WEAVE are working in partnership with 5 Children's Centres and the Warwickshire Forest Schools team to develop the Outdoor Inspirational Learning Space at Whitnash Primary School. The research based project will include on and off-site development of the spaces and will culminate in a celebratory launch in March 2010. Settings involved are Camp Hill Children's Centre, Southam Children's Centre, Whitnash Children's Centre, Boughton Leigh Children's Centre & Polesworth Children's Centre.
"I really enjoyed the OILS training day. It was great playing with all the different resources and materials. I'd forgotten what fun it was to get messy and to follow my imagination. I was amazed at how calming it was to be inside our dens and how we bounced ideas off each other as we worked away. It's definitely given us the push we needed to make headway on our current outdoor space."
