Transforming Learning
"Education will raise standards and inspire children to become resilient, confident, curious and capable learners who can make a positive contribution within a rapidly changing world"
The training day offered 8 Head Teachers from Warwickshire schools the opportunity to work together and explore innovative ways of transforming learning within their school. Engaging open ended, creative approaches the group explored the use of recycled materials and reclaimed artefacts to extend learning and communication for children and pupils. The staff developed abstract ways of articulating and representing their vision for the future of their schools, and considered the use of light and resources in enabling environments. The day culminated in the presentation of creative audio-visual documentation of the session.
'A wonderfully creative day that re-focused the mind and allowed for lots of reflection but this wasn't just about today, it enabled me to think about different strategies that I can use back in school with both staff and children.'
'An absolutely fab day. I've been so inspired to take on some of the activities back in school with both children and adults. It's been great to have time in a different environment.'
