Pupils and parents from Harbury Pre School spent an exciting morning in the grounds of the Compton Verney Estate, taking part in a creative hunt for treasures. Artists Ros Ingram and Barbara Jones were on hand to inspire the young children as they set out on their quest to explore and search for natural and recycled materials. Working under the branches of a huge tree the children and parents created and experimented with a variety of found, recycled and natural objects, in an open-ended process based way. The project allowed the children to explore the multi-sensory qualities of the outdoor space and natural environment, whilst playing and creating with the inspiring objects provided by the artists.
