Artists Ros Ingram and Emily Warner lead a morning session exploring methods of creative play for babies and early years children, focusing on open ended approaches and child led investigation. Working in the grounds of the Compton Verney estate with parents and children from the Stratford Parenting Project, the outdoor session allowed the children to explore the multi-sensory qualities of recycled and natural materials discovering new ways of engaging in creative play. Offering a stimulating environment, unusual materials and an open landscape the children and parents were encouraged to explore, play and create with a selection of multi-sensory materials.
