Job Creatures

Practitioners and staff from across the Children’s Centre worked together to create a sculptural piece of work that represented the breadth and diversity of their work. Using the recycled materials offered the staff brought together the varying roles and responsibilities of their jobs and explored how recycled materials and creative processes can represent these ideas. During the session staff were invited to explore and investigate the potential offered by the materials, and understand the language they communicate. In response to this exploration each group spent time creating a figurative creature that became a representation of their combined roles. Click thumbnails to enlarge
